Little for Now was born long before our little miracle, Eva, arrived.  At 19, I learned that having a baby might be very difficult for me. I never knew how long I would need to wait, or if that baby would ever come. I spent most of my teens and 20's caring for hundreds of kids around me - as a nanny, a preschool teacher, a babysitter, and as a doting aunt to my many nieces and nephews. The more families I observed, the more I saw that children thrive with attachment parenting. I was determined to one day help as many families as possible learn about natural and attachment parenting.

Finally, in March 2006, while going through infertility treatments, I decided the time had come to open Little for Now. I couldn't control when I might have a baby, but I could use my experience with kids to start helping other families. Little for Now opened that same month.

The infertility treatments failed, but Little for Now blossomed. Two and half years later, our little miracle Eva was born. While we are still hoping for a second miracle, we are so grateful for our little blessing.

In the pictures below you can see some of my inspiration for wanting to provide natural, family-friendly products that help us to preserve a better world for all children.

I started Little for Now to help parents find the best products for their babies. There are so many products out there - it can be hard to choose sometimes. I only offer products that are high quality and tested by real parents and real babies.

At this time most Little for Now brand products are made by hand - by me. Those I outsource are all made by other moms who work from home and are paid a fair wage. I source most of my other products from other small, family-owned businesses that employ work-at-home-seamstresses.

In addition to offering natural parenting products, I also write about attachment parenting. You'll find my articles here, all over the internet, and on BellaOnline.com's Attachment Parenting. I blog at www.oneluckymama.com and at www.clothdiapersite.com.

Please note, I do NOT have a store front. While I am happy to arrange local pickup, it is by APPOINTMENT only. Trust me, YOU don't want to see me in my jammies. Also, we are really hard to find, so you will want directions.
