Sometimes you just need the convenience of a disposable diapering system without the guilt. The new biodegradable soakers from Gro Baby are plastic free and easy to use. Best of all - they REALLy work. Unlike most other disposable systems, the Gro Baby inserts have elastic on the sides - two rows! No leaking out the sides like on other systems.

This makes them contain messes like a disposable, but there is much less to dispose of - and when you do, you can compost wet diapers. These cost the same as similar inserts - but they are MUCH easier to use and less messy. The more commonly known hybrid diaper system requires you to fit the diaper insert into a nylon sling that touches your baby. These inserts simply stick to the diaper and require no fumbling around. With the other brand, I had disgusting messes that meant cleaning the whole cover and were HARDER to clean up after than a cloth diaper. These inserts contain the mess so your covers do not get messy.

Use

Made for use with the Gro Baby system. Remove soiled soaker pad and replace with a fresh one as needed. (I have used these with other diaper covers, but be aware that the strong adhesive may stick to labels or other fabric.

Compost
Remove any solid matter into toilet, and compost soaker in your garden. Compostable to EU and USA composting standards.

Dispose
Biodegradable soaker pads are plastic-free, they will break down in a landfill in 50-150 days (Disposables take up to 500 years).

Flush
You can flush your soaker pads. Simply tear open your pad and empty the core contents into the toilet. Throw outer away.
