Lanolin spray is a great way to lanolize your wool covers or touch up between using liquid or solid lanolin. To use Sheepish Grins creamy lanolin spray, simply spray a fine mist over clean wet or dry wool diaper covers. Pat in. Then allow to dry. Use more spray if more lanolin is needed.

Concentrate the spray in the wet zone. When a cover is well lanolized it will have a tacky but not sticky feel to it. If you are using a wool wash with a lot of lanolin in it (such as Sheepish Grins foaming wool wash or Sheepish Grins wool wash bars), you will need a lighter coating of creamy lanolin spray. If your diaper cover has never been lanolized, or has seen a lot of use, you will need to use more.

I almost always use creamy lanolin spray instead of solid or liquid lanolin. While soaking in lanolin works well, I find it easier to just wash one cover at a time as needed, then spray it with lanolin and allow it to air dry. That way I am not waiting on covers to dry when I need them.
